Real Wood – 576 Hardwood Swiveling CD/DVD Storage Rack

Allan Ford · March 7, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Different media formats add up to a big storage headache. Media units designed to store CDs usually don’t work with DVD packaging, and then there’s the problem of VHS tapes, too.Wood Technology’s TO-576 Swivel Media Tower is designed to accommodate a large number of music and movie titles in an incredibly compact space. Made of solid kiln-dried hardwood, the 576 holds up to 576 CDs, up to 256 ‘large’ DVDs, 128 VHS tapes, or a combination of all of these formats. Now that’s flexibility.

Premium Kiln Dried Hardwood Design

Although the price of the 576 is low, don’t confuse it with cheaper swivel racks. The top, bottom, and side panels of this attractive rack are made of solid kiln dried hardwood. That’s right – not vinyl, not veneer, but premium hardwood with a six-step furniture grade finish that will look good with just about any décor. The inside shelves are made of finished MDF for exceptional strength and value. And the shelves can be adjusted to accommodate DVDs, CDs, or VHS tapes.

Conventional storage of so much media would normally consume a lot of floor space. But the 576 only uses 18.25 square inches of floor space, thanks to a swivel mechanism that conserves valuable real estate. It turns 360-degrees on a steel ball bearing mechanism for fast and easy access to the movie or music title that you want.

The 576 assembles in minutes, and when you’re done, you have an incredibly strong and stylish piece of furniture that will serve you well for years and years.
