PS Audio Quintessence CloseoutPS Audio has announced that due to the overwhelming success of their flagship Power Plant Premier, production of the Quintessence Power Center has been discontinued, and prices for the remaining Quintessence models available at PS dealers have been slashed from $1,195 to $699.

The Quintessence uses the same chassis as the Premier Power Plant and features the same harmonic distortion analyzer, AC voltage meter, Nano Crystalline filters and remote control as PS Audio’s $2195 flagship. The only difference is that instead of the Premier’s active AC regeneration, the Quintessence uses an extra level of proprietary passive noise filtering technology called the “super filter”.

If you’re in the market for a high end line conditioner now would be the time to act, as the Quintessence will soon be gone.
