Opus Launches Outdoor Speaker Range

Opus technology have launched the OE150 and the OE165 premium a new outdoor speaker to their range.

These corrosion resistant high performance speakers are designed for most outdoor conditions and afford hi-fi quality sound in the garden, barbecues and by the pool. These exterior speakers are guaranteed weatherproof and treated to ensure longevity even in humid or damp conditions.

And if we have any sun in the UK this summer the durable cabinets are designed to prevent discoloration from UV rays guaranteeing their longevity. Both models come complete with adjustable rust-proof mounting brackets enabling them to be used in either vertical or horizontal orientation. The smaller model combines a 13.5cm injection-moulded mid/bass unit with a 25mm treated anodised aluminium dome tweeter, while the larger one uses the same tweeter with a 16.5cm woofer.

The speaker brackets come with integral cable covers, and the speakers themselves are finished in white, but can be painted to match any exterior colour scheme.

The two models that have been launched: the flagship OE165 will retail for £175 a pair, and the OE150, which sells for £130 a pair.
