 KEF KHT2005.3 Home Theater Speaker System

According to CEPro KEF has unveiled a new home theater speaker system, the KHT2005.3 including the new KUBE-2 subwoofer. Egg-shaped like the KHT1005.2 this 5.1ch system includes four satellites, a center channel and the KUBE-2 subwoofer. The KUBE-2 employs Uni-Q drivers technology using a 10-inch woofer paired with a 10-inch radiator powered by a 200W class D amplifier.

The KHT2005.3 series will retail at an MSRP of $1,299.99 in black or silver color.

Gefen today announced a new line of electronics products geared towards home theatre enthusiasts, which it is dubbing Gefen TV, leading off the line with the Gefen TV Switcher. The Switcher is capable of sharing one HDMI v1.3 port to four separate devices. In addition to being able to manually switch between devices, the Gefen TV Switcher can automatically detect recently powered devices and switch the signal accordingly. Gefen is selling the switch through its website for $200.
