Little-known Swedish manufacturer Lava-Electronics AB has come up with an ingenious way to alleviate those viewing angle pains – a motorised wall mount.
Dubbed the Lava LMV-601.2, the wall mount lets you steer the TV out a full 90 degrees from its starting position. To make things even easier it's all done via your existing TV's remote – the mount has an 'intelligent' receiver that'll work out what's trying to operate it.
The Lava LMV-601.2 is reckoned to be compatible with any LCD or plasma from 26in up to 50in (max weight 50 kg) and can be either left or right mounted, or for a drop down position from the ceiling (max 13kg). Out now, the LVM-601.2 is available via wholesaler More than Plasma Ltd for around £349.
