While flat screens are lovely and er, flat, the same sadly can't be said for their accompanying cables which are still as chunky as ever.
Manufacturer Tech+Link reckons it has the answer though – the Wires HDMI Flat profile cable. At just 3mm in depth the idea is you'll be able to hide your wire better, either by burying it behind plaster-faced walls, under carpets or even beneath wallpaper apparently (hmm).
And while the cable's size has been reduced Tech+Link promise quality hasn't followed suit, with the same oxygen-free copper conductors, individual shielding, low migration FPE (foam polyethylene) insulation and gold plated connectors as used on the current Wires HDMI cable range.
The Wires HDMI Flat cables are out now in 2m, 3m and 5m lengths. Prices start at around £40.
