Marantz Legendary Series System : the reference-standard hi-fi system

Allan Ford July 30, 2007

30 July 2007 – Marantz once again takes the lead and isn’t scared to go all the way with its new flagship hi-fi system : the SA-7S1 SACD Player, the SC-7S2 pre-amp and MA-9S2 × 2 mono block amplifiers.

It’s all gold, solid copper and sturdy aluminium for this breathtaking piece of engineering! No wonder it weighs a back-breaking 19 stone. So you can imagine Marantz didn’t skimp on components (customized and proprietary) or circuit construction. Immense power allied to incredibly pure sound is what we have here with a beast capable of generating almost 5,000W as it allows the faintest input signals from its Super Audio CD player to be conveyed with unerring accuracy and speed. It can reproduce a frequency range of 3Hz to 150Hz.
