01 September 2007 – KEF has revealed that its Reference Series speaker range is to be offered in an alternative Satin finish.
The thinking behind this is that the new finish will provide a wider choice to match with more of today’s contemporary furniture – as well as offering price reductions. The reason for the reduced pricing is that the new satin finishes do not require the same level of hand finishing time as the high gloss – a fact which should also lead to significantly reduced consumer waiting times.
The KEF Reference Series line-up includes the classic bookshelf Model 201/2, the floorstanding Models 203/2 and 205/2 and the top-of-the-range Model 207/2. There are also two newly developed centre-channel speakers, Models 202/2c and 204/2c; and a 3-way dipole surround speaker, Model 206/2DS.
