Now I understand why Hitachi chooses the word WOOO for their Video product line-up… Behold the magnificent HD and HD-Ready LCD TV UT42-HHV700 (42" Full HD), UT37-HV700 (37" Full HD) and UT32-HV700 (32" HD Ready) which received for all 3 models a slim body of 35mm thick!
Both the Full HD versions are using a Twice Velocity Panel of 120MHz and will be available early 2008.
if the Full HD models are only available only in black finish, the HD-Reay version is available in Blue, Black, White and Red.
So now you may wonder how they can fit together the LCD panel as well as the TV tuner and all the electronics needed for such TV… Well this pretty simple Hitachi decided to put the Tuner and so on in an external box which can be also used to play and record video on iVDR cartridge.
Finally you will have the possibility to plug your external TV tuner to one or more TV thanks to the HDMI or thanks to a wireless module.
