New Yamaha Receivers – DSP-AX1800 & DSP-AX3800

Yamaha has seen fit to update their line of receivers with a couple of new mid-priced additions.

These two models, the DSP-AX1800 and DSP-AX3800, are both 7.1 channel receivers with a respectable 130 watts and 140 watts per channel respectively.

Of course Yamaha included their highly regarded Cinema DSP surround sound mode, as well as 1080p upconversion and “Deep Color” support.

Both receivers will also support the latest surround sound formats, namely DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby True HD. A

lthough there is no word on a US release as of now, the Japanese can already begin picking these up. The DSP-AX1800 and DSP-AX3800 are priced at $1,500 and $2,250 respectively.
