The Nikkei Electronics Breakdown Team is at it again. After the opened up the new Sony OLED TV they are now lifting the secret insides of the Hitachi Wooo UT series ultra thin LCD TV. Hitachi introduced the cool 35mm thin LCD TVs in October.
The Hitachi Wooo UT LCD TV is only 35mm thin. To achieve this slim appearance Hitachi put the Tuner component in a separate box.
Right now only the 32 inch Hitachi Wooo UT LCD TV is on the market in Japan. Larger model of this extremely thin LCD TVs will come early next year.
