Sometimes those chintzy little iPod dock speakers just won’t do the trick when it comes to bringing your record collection with you. That’s when you might want to roll out the Yamaha NX-A01 One Box Cubic Stereo Speaker. Packed with what Yamaha calls SR-Bass (Swing Radiator Bass), the 3.25 square-inch-sized NX-A01 features stereo mini jack inputs and weighs just seven pounds.
The only major downside with the NX-A01 is that it doesn’t take batteries and won’t run via USB, you’ll have to carry that hated power adapter brick around with you. But, for just $99, the speaker offers a healthy dose of style points on the (relatively) cheap.
