Atlantic Technology has released their new IWTS-8e In-wall Subwoofer System. The IWTS-8e is designed to be installed under the sheetrock, so it is ideal to install during a new build or renovations. The sub module houses two 8″ long-throw woofers with 8 lb. motor assemblies and 2″ vented multi-layer voice coils that are oversized for increased SPL levels down to 20Hz (+/-3 dB).
The system comes with a THX Ultra certified SA-380 class AB power amplifier rated at 380 watts. The SA-380 also includes a refined servo-control circuit that greatly reduces distortion at high output levels.
The IWTS-8e Subwoofer System is currently available for $2,200.
