Sony claims that the headphones have the ability to cancel about 99 percent of the ambient noise and offer high-quality sound, giving users a great music-listening experience. The powerful headphones utilize digital technology that has the ability to automatically generate waves that move in the opposite direction to noise waves. Moreover, it also makes use of an analog technology to cut the outside sounds. It has been noticed that is effectively removes the noise. Weighing 195g, the headphones have the capacity to provide 16 hours on its integrated rechargeable batteries.

Expected to roll out in Japan on 21st April, the Sony MDR-NC500D headphones carry a suggest price of 49,350 yen (approx. Rs. 19,240).
