14 August 2007 – Just a couple of hours after Shiny Shiny’s exclusive news, Philips has released some official information about their Aurea TV technology, as well as a short film created in partnership with creative film director Wong Kar Wai.
With the tag line "Seduction by Light", Philips claims Aurea brings light and colour in an unparalleled, highly visual and immersive fashion.
"Aurea marks a departure from the world of television as we know it today," Philips proudly proclaim.
There’s just over 16 days to go until the exclusively shot film is premiered at IFA 2007 in Berlin on August 30th. Hopefully, we’ll also get a decent look at the new breed of Philips TVs, and some detailed specs.
