The latest multichannel amplifier from NAD is the T975. Each of its seven channels are capable of delivering 140 watts of continuous power and are isolated to eliminate crosstalk, sharing only the single NAD Holmgren power supply.
NAD’s proprietary PowerDrive circuitry is used to detect the impedance of and tailor the amp’s output to the speakers being driven. The case design matches other recent NAD components, and it is rather attractive (for a NAD) in their typical understated way. Additional features are a variable-speed temperature sensing “smart” cooling fan, active ground isolation and individual gain adjustments for each channel.
