Klipsch iFi Audio System For ipod

Allan Ford August 7, 2007

07 August 2007 – As the first iPod-dockable home stereo system on the market, the award-winning iFi combines audiophile-quality performance with aesthetic flair. This iPod speaker is perfect for use in a den, bedroom, office or dorm room, this sub/sat setup includes a dock cradle and long-range radio frequency remote.

The iFi works with most dockable iPods, including the iPod mini, iPod Nano, and iPod video. Early 1G/2G iPods and iPod shuffles can’t be docked, but can connect via the audio port on the rear of the dock or subwoofer.

Each self-standing or wall-mountable RSX-3 satellite (includes two) is a two-way, magnetically shielded speaker that employs a 3.5-inch aluminum woofer and a 0.75-inch titanium dome compression driver coupled to an exclusive round MicroTractrix™ Horn.

The 8-inch subwoofer, designed specifically for this system, has a built-in Class D amplifier that distributes 200 watts of peak system power to successfully drive all the channels. It also features a slot port and line level input. A unique tuning approach is used to achieve a sound character typically found in much larger subwoofer boxes.
